I’m so thrilled to bring you a new episode of “Living La Vida Yoga”. Today, I have the great pleasure to introduce you to María Errehache. She is a life lover, a spiritual collagist, art director and dream explorer from Barcelona. She is so amazing and inspiring. I am so grateful that she agreed to be interviewed for my blog.
How did you get into yoga ?
The truth is that I don’t practice yoga since a long time. Everything started as a strong spiritual connection when I started working on my collages. They were already on my mind, deep inside of me, and this is exactly what enables me to connect with Mirian Alonso. She introduces me into Yoga and she is the one who actually (since 2 years at least) is working with me to build the project Creative Flow -@creativeflowyogart- Yoga and Art Experiences.
How do you integrate Yoga in your daily life?
I try to do my best every time, taking care of my body and spirit. I try to give what they need respectfully. I connect frequently with my inner spirit; I work my breath and the manifestation, mostly artistic, of mental imagery. I work the physical part of Yoga from time to time, always with respect towards my body and my space. These are things that I have learnt from Mirian, an amazing teacher of Prana Flow yoga.
What or Who inspires you every day?
I found my inspiration in the everyday little things but also in the words of wisdom and learnings of our spiritual leaders. The key, according to me, is that we can learn from everything. We just need to be ready, open-minded and let our feelings flow. We are our own source of inspiration.
What has been your biggest yoga experience up to date?
My “Biggest Yoga Experience” up to date has to do with the drive of energy and visualization. They are revealing experiences, full of magic. They happen while I meditate, when I do collages, when I cure with laying on of hands or when I do sacred body painting. Somehow, it gives me awareness and information that seem to be of another level, it makes me feel so so happy.
What is your favorite yoga pose and what do you love about it?
As i said earlier, i need to develop further my physical practice of yoga. I still have a long journey ahead (I trust the help of Mirian).
Now, my favorite asanas are :
– the open heart asanas as I love how it makes me feel.
– the lotus pause as it helps me connect and find inner peace.
– Utthita Trikonasana for its stability and strength, and for the link it represents between the sky and the earth.
Tell me about your latest projects?
I work on my own since 2 years now. Since then, thanks to all the projects I have been working on for other people and for myself, I have learnt so much and I feel so grateful for this.
